Biography
Xue Feng, born in 1973 in Zhejiang, graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the China Academy of Art in 1997, and subsequently began teaching at the Academy. Since 2017, he has lived and worked in Shenzhen. In recent years, Xue has placed naturalism at the center of his artistic practice. Through self-driving journeys across vast landscapes, he has accumulated a deep understanding of geography, terrain, local cultures, and humanities. By integrating his reflections on artificial constructs, materiality, spirituality, and belief systems, he has developed a unique worldview as an artist, establishing a new form of artistic narrative.
