The latest solo exhibition by German artist Daniel Knorr opened on March 29, 2020, at the MANGROVEGALLERY. This exhibition marked the global debut of the artist’s innovative series “Canvas Sculptures”. The exhibition continued until May 23, 2020.
The “Canvas Sculptures” series, evolving from the “Depression Elevations” series, introduces a novel dimension to the artist’s creative and painterly practices. Daniel Knorr’s new series, “Canvas Sculptures”, emancipates the form and philosophy of painting from the confines of the canvas and liberates it from the conventions of traditional painting.
