Rippling presents works developed during an artist residency in Wanxia, Shenzhen, where the idea of the everyday border appears not as a line on land but as something carried through air and perception. Boundaries emerge from signals that move across space: the radio frequencies that drift beyond sight, and the social signals formed through slogans, urban concepts, and the visual language intended for distant viewers.

These transmissions generate subtle disturbances that spread through homes, streets, and the memory of the city. Often elusive and fragmentary, they oscillate between clarity and noise, yet they shape how places are seen and imagined. The works in this exhibition trace these intangible waves, giving form to the ripples that appear when a signal meets its environment.
