Wu Li is one of the most promising young Chinese contemporary artists. All of his prominence comes from his own experience and perception of everyday life. Keen on capturing each of the fleeting moments. The objects Wu Li chooses to depict are usually the people and objects around him. The passion of painting formed in the long-term observation, thinking, and dialogue with the media, the painting language is sincere and passionate, determined and powerful. Wu Li' s artistic practice happened to be precisely part of the shift of Chinese modernist art movement in the past 100 years, his practice also reflected the transformation of oriental writings throughout the artistic language of western paintings.
